History
Tutiyabed was an aristocratic Rajput thikana historically affiliated with the Rathore dynasty within the sphere of the Marwar (Jodhpur) state in present-day Rajasthan. Bestowed as a hereditary jagir to Rathore chieftains in recognition of martial service, defense of regional borders, and fealty to the central ruling house, the thikana operated as a localized center of feudal governance and revenue administration until its accession to the Union of India following independence in 1947.
